    Play-off Seeding

The Patriot League should soon announce a number of different seeding options based upon the forthcoming results of Games #17 and #18. For example, should every home team win from here on out, we’d laid claim to the #2 seed and host/play on Thursday, March 2nd against the winner of the #7 vs. # 10 game played two days earlier on February 28th.

    Closing out the Regular Season

      Wednesday (Game #17)

    Boston U. @ Army
    American @ Navy
    Lafayette @ Bucky
    Loyola @ Holy Cross

      Saturday (Game #18)

    Navy @ Bucknell
    American @ Loyola
    Lafayette @ Colgate
    Boston U. @ Holy Cross
    Army @ Lehigh

Nice run to end the first half. TK is a beast.

Wish we could get some fans in the seats. Players deserve better.

Another fun game. And again we all showed up. TK dominated.

    Nice win. Not to
Mention everything else fell into place. Need to root for the cross on sat. Uhhhh lol. Yeah it would be nice to see more people there. But it won’t ever happen. Don’t ask me why

Fun game, but opposition pretty weak. Hopefully we can see 80+ points in the playoffs.

TK, KR, AP, KL on fire! Even BA looked sharp.

Funny, but even with low attendance, team is now 10-2 at Stabler!

How about playing some games at Grace Hall?

I stick with my assertion that athletic venues outside walking distance are not conducive to student attendance. With more kids living north and east of campus than ever, Grace is right there. Would be cool environment for big time basketball.

Really seems like this season has no juice.

No fan support. Little discussion on the Board. People just not pumped up about this squad. I know they have been disappointing and up and down. But, we may get 2nd seed and we beat the 1 seed twice. People need to jump on bandwagon now.

Basketball at Grace Hall. Remember, the court has shifted 90 degrees from the old court. The seats would be the upper deck seats, maybe 700. However the site lines mean it would be difficult to see the action (other than the ball hitting the backboard or going into the basket) So the only good spectator areas would be standing in the upper sideline areas. Maybe the court could be moved sideways, closer to Taylor avenue, so that some of the expensive wrestling seats could be used.

This does bring up something that has piqued my recent curiosity. I assume the old Grace BB court was 84 ft (by 50) with 3 ft protection past the endlines. 90 ft. But there is no way that it is 90 ft from the glass wall near Taylor Avenue to the wall at the other end (separating the back seats of the luxury seats from the luxury seats snack area. I sea that distance as being 52 ft of mat. 5-6 ft for the scorers/press table (and their seats) and 10 rows of expensive seats, 25 feet at the most. 83 feet at the most. I assume four pillars are structural. So was the old basketball court even shorter than 84 ft, as short as 76?

Ahh back in the Snake Pit days. :)
I was one of the few that would wander down from the Quad to catch a game. Length? All I can say is that when I went to my 1st game the Court struck me as shorter than what I was used to in NYC.

Can only speak for myself, but I’m still the same fan. Still bleed brown, and hoops is still my particular passion. I just decided that I needed to step back a bit. Had been angry a lot, and found myself posting things I regretted. Kids, playing a game that they (and I) love. That’s all. Too much other stuff to be stressed about to let that happen. I’m really hoping these guys can make a run – I think they deserve it. But I’ve just got to keep my head on straight, and enjoy the game.

More of us should follow your lead. Some may need Xanax :)

Unfortunately, no. First year in a while that I haven’t seen any. But I guarantee I’m going to an NCAA game, if it happens, wherever…

Question … Bucknell won regular season, so get the autobid to NIT. If Bucknell gets the NCAA bid, does the 2nd place PL get the NIT bid?

If so, today big day for Lehigh.

it’s a big day regardless of NIT issue, possible to get #2 seed for tournament, gotta think NCAA’s
