Nice solid game tonight on the road. The consistency is nice to see. They are playing under control and with confidence. Looking good1

So, looking ahead, who will we play next Thursday in the Quarter-final Round of the PL Playoffs at Stabler Arena? As Chip pointed out above, we still have a chance at the #1 seed but the odds are we’ll land where we are now, firmly implanted as the #2. And……………

If we gain the #1 Seed, which by the way earns us a ticket to the NIT should we not prevail as PL Tournament Champions, it’ll be the winner of the game featuring #8 @ #9 (Holy Cross). The candidates for #8 are: Navy, Loyola or American.

If we end up the #2 seed, as we’re assured of no matter what happens tomorrow up at Army on Saturday, we’ll face the winner of the game featuring #10 (Lafayette) @ #7. The candidates for #7 are, as they are above: Navy, Loyola or American.

For kicks, what’s everyone’s choice between: HC, Navy, Loyola, American or Lafayette?

Who would you rather play and why?

hmmm, well Pards a good choice cause we just love to beat them, and getting even for that 1 point loss to Loyola a good thought, but American probably the easiest win

Wouldn’t the one seed Host the lowest seed. Say Laf wins their game. They be the worst team entering pl tourney. Wouldn’t they face the one automatically

Good question! Does the PL “reseed” after the first two games, to determine the next matchup? Or does a 10 beating a 7 just “inherit” the 7 slot?
Looking at the PL site, it appears that there is not a “reseed”. Looks like the 10 would just replace the 7 and play the 2.

Definitely between American and the pards, for me. I guess I lean towards the pards for the added excitement and cross-town crowd.

American gives us best matchup. Pards could be dangerous with a hot 3 game.

Such a weird year because so many teams have had their moments, good and bad.

For example, a team I want no part of come tournament time is Holy Cross. Their smothering defense is brutal to face, and if they get hot from outside, they can beat anyone.

Conversely, how in heck did Colgate beat Bucknell twice? Though a decent, scrappy team, it looked and felt like a mismatch most of the game when Lehigh trounced them yesterday.

I think every team, when they have their day, can be dangerous, even Lafayette (though they might have peaked yesterday).
