While Baylor was tough to watch, this game is a must see. Assuming a Pitt win over Fordham in the 6pm prelim tonight, a win over the 0-1 Colonials put us back into the passenger seat (not the driver’s seat) in route to a possible date on Thanksgiving Eve in New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. A loss to RMU, no matter what were to happen the next night against either Fordham or Pitt, would send us home to Stabler to host NIT ‘also-rans’ on November 19 and 20. How quick the ugliness of Waco could be forgotten with a W out in Pittsburgh tonight.

BUT, reports are that Robert Morris returns 92.2 percent (2,334-of-2,532) of its scoring, 86.2 percent (1,150-of-1,323) of its rebounding and 88.8 percent (443-of-498) of its assists from last season. The Colonials are led by redshirt senior guard Velton Jones, who paced RMU in scoring (16.0 ppg), assists (167) and steals (68) last year en route to 2012 All-NEC First Team accolades.
