We always seem to struggle to run a play coming out of a timeout in crucial situations. Ross almost lost the ball on last possession

Love KR’s game. He’s the engine that makes it go, and a fiery competitor. He’s also not the guy that should take the late, long 3.
More tomorrow. But in the meantime – damnit.

Listening to postgane you can tell Reed is not happy. He is upset with a few of the vets on the team. Didn’t mention any names. But was talking about playing selfish and making bad decisions. Interesting. Good hard fought game. But again. We should be 2-0. This one stings a tad more

Totally agreed, Travis. I hope Doc is showing some fire in the locker room.
TK was great, after the first 10 mins or so. Nerves hurt us.

Didn’t see the game but listened to the great tom Fallon. Reeds comments were very interesting tho. Have a feeling he was referring to Ross or price.

Both, I think. Post-game Facebook post was excellent. I’m hopeful that Doc is dialing it up a bit.

Doc clearly pissed at last minute lack of execution. Also mad about our D for the whole game. Two in a row where we choked in end game situations.

Doc understands how good this team can be if they appropriate all their potential, hope the guys get it soon

AP had one of his nights where he forgets he is a shooter. 2 pts, 4 PFs.
Andree showed up very well scoring and rebounding. Alston and Cohen got minutes but did zip on O.
Team stats were almost dead even
    A woulda coulda shoulda game

I need to sleep on it – but at the moment, I’m benching AP. I can’t believe I’d say that, but I’d start Andree instead. Very, very impressed with Andree. Soaked up boards when we needed them, and he’s a pure shooter.

    After thoughts……….

We’re probably the best 0-2 team in the Country. Well, technically Michigan State is at this moment but once they cruise over Mississippi Valley State – a team that is 0-3 and has yielded their opponent an average of 98 ppg – and up their record to 1-2, we’ll hold the title. Hopefully, that title will be short-lived when we go to 1-2 following our home-opener vs. Princeton on Sunday.

What you see is what you get with AP. And, it should not come as a surprise. Live with it. The senior seems to take a night off once or twice a year. Why? Don’t ask me, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him light it up against Princeton on Sunday. His year-by-year highs and lows follow. As a …

freshman: 21 vs. Rider on 6 for 12 shooting / 0 vs. Navy on 0 for 6 shooting / overall season shooting percentage of .374
sophomore: 2 vs. Canisius on 1 for 9 shooting / 24 vs. Villanova on 10 for 17 shooting / overall season shooting percentage of .433

junior: 2 vs. Navy on 1 for 11 shooting / 28 vs. Colgate on 10/15 shooting / overall season shooting percentage of .414

Let’s see what happens in Game #97 of his career come Sunday.

    Odds and Ends……………

Damn, Matt Holba missed a shot. He’s now 7 for 8 on the season.

Put him at the line, KL (6 for 6) hasn’t missed yet

Ouch, our opponent next Sunday, Arkansas State just beat 48th ranked (KenPom) Georgetown 78-72. They take on Army this weekend if anyone is interested in a sneak preview. This is turning out to be one hell of a preseason mix of teams for Lehigh.
