Notes are up. Rivas and Loughery still out on D. Farrell off 2 deep again on O. Not a substantial drop off there nor at LB except for Rivas but Mihal while not as agile is very good.

Gate has been hit with a season long series of injuries particularly at the skill positions. QB and Nate will be healthier for us and Gate undefeated at home. Ol , which I thought would be their strength this year has underperformed. Eachus has only been able to produce about every other game with his injuries. Bad for us as he was stopped by Hoyas. McCarney a dual threat kid. Has been hobbled oflate. W/o the run threat he is a sitting target as OL cannot pass block . D has not improved much if at all from last yr. 2ndary is ,by necessity , scemedto keep everything in front of them. Not good at man to man coverage.

All of that said, I expect Biddle to have them psyched for this game.Itwill makeor break their season.

Noticed AJ Hood not on 2 deep either (OL already thin). Haggins starter over Wickware (coming off injury). Loughery not on 2 deep at LB.

Glad to see Fitz on 2 deep at RB, he was running well against Fordham.

Hood was on crutches so I did not expect to see him yet,if at all. Nice pick up on Fitz. Nice to see him get more time. Guess Dormivel still hobbled.

Yes, I saw that Hood is not on the two-deep. Hope the injury is not too bad as some depth on the OL is important. Weather forecast is 30-40% chance of showers with ‘high’ temp of 45F. Could be some snow showers as well. ‘gate will be psyched to get back after the embarrassment they suffered here last year–as well as the embarrassment of losing to Georgetown. Not to dis the Hoyas, because they have certainly turned it around, but I think most people expected Colgate to roll them. Upsetting us would put some salve on a wounded season. If our guys are focused they should win going away. But, it’s why the game is played and not mailed in.

Just looking at Gate’s 2 deep for Sat. On D,they basically only have 1 db the rest are all well over 200 lbs. D really looks geared to stopping the run. Now I understand why they look so slow. they are. Running will be very hard but we should be able to pass all day on them.

Liebler,Rivas and Wickware are all healthy and ready to go. Lougery has a shoulder injury, expected back by Holy Cross.

Great news, would like to hear on Hood and Farrell but getting Rivas back isa bonus. A bit more depth. ExpectLBs toget a lot of action on Sat
