looking at Princeton-Georgetown box score, Tigger starting QB was 25/29 for 313 and 4 TDs, sounds like a big day ahead for Brad, Gatlin, Troy and Jorge

Interesting. G-town in middle of FCS pack (just better than Colgate) in Total Defense at 377 ypg (compare to LU, last, at 533.7).

Odd, because defense had been a GU strength for a while.

Big news is G-town is 109 of 123 in FCS Total Offense, 262 ypg. Bucknell and Lafayette are worse!

This compares with Wagner, whose offense is ranked 99 at 290.5 ypg.

I smell a blowout, with D’s best stats of year.

I am not going to underestimate the ability of our lousy D to lay an egg. Not unless they can prove it against decent offense ….or at least hold ANY team to 300 yds total and under 20 pts.

    Notes are up.
Founier at C Evans and Sort at Gs
    Otherwise the same.
I note Mish is listed at 1 at P and K. Hope so.

The Lehigh defense needs to see this as a message game that they are ready to ball for the rest of the year. They need to pounce on a struggling offense and shut them down, something they weren’t able to do effectively against Wagner.

This is a game where getting up on the Hoyas early and demoralize them is necessary. The last thing you want is for any team who knows they are the underdog to “hang around” within sniffing range. I’d love to see 40 points in the first half and let some frosh and sophs get some PT. Makes for good morale and experience, and saves the bodies with the bye week coming up. Need everyone healthy for the stretch run beginning at Fordham.

    54-35 final
Hope Nick T will be OK.
Happy for Pelletier and guys pn O. D played a decent 1st quarter then left the building. Coaches and players s/ b embarrassed.
One thing today showed is that if D cam just put together a couple of stops we can win.

so many comments that can be said about today’s game, but the scampers by Mayes were my highlight of the game, for a guy that’s not much of a runner, he looked pretty nifty out there

This game was needed before the bye week. With a week to heal up before Fordham, this can help the team from a mental standpoint. Defense played well in the first half, with one or two mistakes leading to scores. What bothers me is the kickoff coverage that gave Hoyas some short fields. The team seemed play with more energy. The o was fantastic. Mayes threw very well (except for the opening int). I enjoyed his ability to run for first downs when the opportunity was there–take what they give you. The 48 yard bomb to Pelletier was a thing of beauty. The run game was stellar. With the “Killer B’s”, Brags and Brisker, the O is extremely balanced and the opponent’s D is left guessing. Mish’s return is very welcome. Beautiful punts, and nice t get some nice chip shot fg practice. Overall, what we expected. There is no reason we cannot run the table. The D needs to get a few stops and some turnovers. Our offense should be able to put up at least 40 on our remaining opponents.Go Lehigh!
