All true . Dont forget they are still frosh. On O need means Brusker and Bragalone must play. Christiano has the talent but absent injuries not much PT left for him behind a lot of talented WRs.
On D, who knows?? Lynn and Morrow have the ability. Secondary Harris,McCloskey and Montgomery could see PT. K will be a frosh.

Agree one of the freshman RBs will see time, its a no brainer with the lost of Chris. From what ive seen of Kee i dont think he has IT, im sure Andy will give him a shot though…SR. I think we have alot of scholly guys on D that hasnt had a shot yet because of upperclassmen. I really dont see that many freshman on D taking PT from the sophs and Jrs. I know the secondary needs help, but we have upperclaasmen that hasnt had they shot yet…..Siegenthaler, Githens, and Redmond come to mind. Lynn and Morrow would be hard pressed to take from time from the other LBs and Dlineman

Assuming a stronger Dline ,the major issue coming into the season will be the new syste
system and how well the staff teaches it to the players. Expect we’ll have mental mistakes as players adapt to system. If D can markedly increase TOs,I can live with some mistakes.

from my view we need help at CB the safeties should be fine with a nice rotation of about 3-4 that competition will light a fire and cream will rise to the crop, at least 1 frosh kid at each position should buck for playing time, we were at the bottom of the league and picked 5th this year, that means were not showing growth,
Question???? I wonder how many of the Defensive guys were up on campus this summer grinding and getting better??? HMMMMMM

Not sure but a number of DBs were on campus for skills coacing.,Now that Eric is full time S & C coach, all players got individual workout programs and montorong by Eric. A lot of them worked at with pro trainers near their home. Do know that there were a lot of players on campus for various periods all summer. We’ll soon see how it worked out.

Just a fan the starting corners are Leaks and Rigauld, thats penciled in. With Lawson and jones at the safeties. ALL played last yr so HOPE for improvement. Siegenthaler is a nice player that was hurt majority of last yr and i really thought he wouldve played last yr. Redmond switched from RB(HS) to CB last yr, he had learning curve, so i expect more from him as well. I can see the Lynn getting PT on the Dline with that 290 frame. ALOT of defensive players were on campus during the 2 summer sessions. The kids are committed to improving. I think this yr will shock some people. LU was behind the other PL schools IMO of not playing the scholly kids sooner, and being loyal to a fault to the upperclassmen. With three scholly classes in, they have not choice ;) We have ALOT of talent that didnt get a shot, they will this yr!

Not really worried about the O. They did more than hold their own last yr besides the Pards game. We need a good RB, every other position is OK. I think injuries on the Oline will benefit us this yr with all the experience

On point LG. Have more confidence in players, than coaches right now. A year in should help them also. In 3-3-5, more a philosophical change than physical. To work,D must be aggressive. The one new position is #5. Looks to be Harvey,Barrett and Lambert,IMO.

Healthy O agree will be fine. IIR,OL has 7 guys who started. Add in a healthy Smith ,OL set. THe BBs should carry the load.

I am with you LG, lets see how it all plays out, I just know that competition raises the bar in all big time programs… Look at Ohio State (3) starting QBs if that spot were penciled in they would have lost 5 games last year, those kids had to work everyday and prove themselves and its all working itself out now with Braxton moving to WR. I am just saying that competition is always good for business!!!
    Do you agree??
