Lehigh leads the patriot League in rebounding this year and is 4th in offensive rebounds. Tim Kempton leads the PL in rebounding. So have we solved our rebounding issue? Different mentality? Better technique? Maybe not.

We are also last in the Patriot League in rebounds allowed. Simply stated, there are just far more rebounding opportunities in Lehigh games. Why? Tempo is probably part of it..maybe a big part. However, Lehigh also leads the Patriot League in FG% defense and is 4th last in FG% offense. Hence, more missed shots.
I guess there is more than one way to increase our rebounding #s but I would still prefer doing it the old fashioned way :-).

Interesting,if a bit troubling. We emphasize shooting and transititoon D over rebounding. It would work great if we shot better but so far we do not consistently. Heck,we dont do anything consistently. We put it together for parts of games. Looking forward to time we get it for a whole game and even better for 3-4 games in a row.

Yes, I don’t see ton of bball games live (3-4 year) plus a couple on the computer, but it seems to me our guys are too interested in heading back up the court than looking for an offensive rebound. Too many lost opportunities imo.
