I’m not sure what it means but I saw he had an offer as a preferred walk on at Michigan

Not much in the way of stats but perhaps low tackles for a DB is a good thing. Not sure what to make of this commit.

A bit of an unknown. Nice video but haven’t found much ink on him. Scanned thru a bunch of local reporting in HS football season. Didn’t tell me much about Greg.
Pure speculation,Andy pretty consistent with early verbals. They ate usually top of the position list players.Perhaps ,we’ll get some indication when the A-S teams come out.

PWO at Michigan is a pretty good endorsement IMO

    Great article in philly.com.
Greg is slotted as a WR. He was offered by Pards and PWO by Michigan and Rutgers.
Noted that he is the grandson of Harry Gamble an old time prior Pard HC.
    Damn,I feel old now. :-))

Excellent commit. Seems like an all-around athlete. Harry Gamble recruited me for Lafayette in 1969…just before he left for Penn. Classy guy, but I, too, felt Lehigh was going to be my home the moment I was on campus.

Harry Gamble was a bumbling idiot, laughably inept coach back in the early 70’s. Sportswriter to Harry… “Harry what sort of adjustments did you make at halftime”? Harry…”I can make adjustments”?

Not really buck. Cant say I knew him well, but met him while he sas an asst at Penn and I was in HS. ngimeer summed it u best,he was a clasdu guy. He had a mediocjre time at Lafayette,a little over 500 I think and then went on to HC at Penn for about a ddcade .He stayed at Penn in the AD office until he was hired by the Eaglds. He was perhaps not a great game coach but he was a good HC in difficult situations at both schools.

Harry was 34−55−2 at Penn, and simply an awful GM for the Eagles. Of course none of this has anything to do with his grandson, who I hope does very well at Lehigh.
