    Game Breakdown and Fearless Prediction:

    http://lehighfootballnation.blogspot.com/2015/11/game-breakdown-lehigh-at-colgate.html

Special teams could be a massive game-changer for Lehigh. I hope so.

A dead even match up today, with all the assorted IFs we have seen all year. Both teams at their best,it could be a triple OT nailbiter. The but is that neither has played a full game this year. A game ,I think, that will be decided by mistakes.

The O has to be flawless, it won’t. Amazing that Colgate has one play, and we can’t stop it.

`One hell if a game. Neither team had a D. Will never understand 4 passes from the 5. Folmar overvthought that one.

Could be the worst defense in all of collegiate football, so many players with limited athletic ability.

Agree Rich, I’m here hollering now, not one run play. If brags was in they would’ve. Can’t let one player dictate your O. Nana would’ve been good from 5, or QB keeper. Our D showed their head today, pathetic. The last run play for CU that got to the 1, #26 didn’t touch anybody, and they didn’t touch him, he just dropped his head and everybody avoided him. Sad performance by the D, the O was great. Really upset about this one, not one play by the D besides the fumble.

That last series sits with OC. Too cute for no reason
D was outplayed from start to finish. Gate D not any better but that is no consolation..

    Disappointing loss on several levels.

LU’s fight was impressive; as was vast majority of offensive execution.

On D, though: Did Colgate punt once? The one muffed for a TO? I can only imagine D gave up 450+ again. There were some outstanding defensive plays, but some big ones given up — again. The consistency just isn’t there, and it’s too hard to win championships with sieve defenses.

Only a few questionable O play calls, but that 4th and 4 in the second half in the red zone was a huge lost opportunity. Did Lehigh have so little faith in its D it would not take a FG?

I hope Brags is OK. Another great game for him. What a workhorse! Shaf played well, too; but not well enough to win this championship game against an evenly matched team. He missed a few key passes in that final drive, but we’re all human. Will this game spark a renewed Shaf-Mayes debate?

Coaches should find a way to get both of them in there — sometimes together. It would be an opportunity to see some really exciting football. They complement each others’ strengths so well.

I’d have thrown in a surprise run with Nana after Brags got hurt and there was “lots” of time left.

And I’d have gone for the win with two if LU scored.

Lafayette is a must-win. They will pull out all stops in an effort to win; opening kickoff onside kick, trick plays, etc. I hope the coaching staff is prepared.

I was saying the same thing, once at the 5 run once if just to make sure our defense did not have to go back on the field. Had we scored I would have also preferred going for 2 for the same reason. The one stop we got was when I think there number 1 QB was out with and injury.
