    When did his injury occur? I thought he went down about 3 weeks ago. When is the cutoff?

    Apparently Dartmouth. Cross 3rd game. Rumor,so far but seems reliable.

    Got to be a first for Lehigh? No? Would be cool to finish the year that way. Great recruiting tool.

    I’d love to be a freshman WR next year having Mayes pass to me for two years, or at least one.

    I talked to Shaf today. Personally I think they should hold him out one more week but then again, I’m not the coach.

    Maybe it’s a ploy? HC saw Mayes last year, so let them prep more for Nick?

    I agree with TMH, better to rest him for Fordham.

    Yes Dartmouth – but that was HC’s 4th game. That just makes it for a medical hardship waiver IF the doctors certify that he is medically unable to play again this year.

    I think AC should never let the public know whose starting at QB, so long as Shaf is hurt. Let these teams prepare for their two styles.

    I’d start Mayes, too, giving Shaf an extra week to prep. Ankle sprains don’t magically go away. They can be months-long pains, if there’s no real rest.

    Neither practiced yesterday. Both day to day. Andy said Shaf’s ankle uncomfortable not unstable.
