    Starts this afternoon @4:00 with Soccer v Colgate to get to the PL finals. The men’s basketball team opens up with Syracuse and the Women @home vs Monmouth. Tomorrow is the big FB game with Colgate, a share of the championship on the line. Sunday, wrestling takes on national powers Minnesota and Nebraska @ the NE Duals. Not to mention that the playoff bound women’s volleyball team finishes up their regular season with Holy Cross and Army this weekend.

    Thought about posting this under Hate Gate Week but the weekend is off to a decent start as Lehigh takes a 1-0 lead over Colgate in soccer

    Luchini scores. Lehigh now up 2-0 25 minutes into the game. Colgate is the #1 seed. Forrest scored the 1st goal. The freshman onslaught continues.

    Lehigh has gotten off to really good start to this big sports weekend. Only a bad half of men’s basketball kept us from being perfect.

    Men’s Soccer beats #1 seed Colgate and heads to the PL final to face #3 American who they recently tied 2-2. Yet another game in Hamilton, NY

    The women’s volleyball team beat Holy Cross 3-1 and is locked into the #3 seed to face Army. They will also face Army tomorrow in the regular season finale.

    Women’s basketball recovers from a terrible 1st half to beat Monmouth in OT. # girls scored 21 points. Lexi Martins with 21 points and 20 rebounds.

    Men’s basketball as noted above played a terrible 1st half but came back nicely to fall to Syracuse by 10. Tim Kempton with 16 pts and 12 boards.

    Now on to football before a big slate again on Sunday.

    Yep, agreed! Now that I’m past the initial grief, can’t feel too bad about the men’s game, even. Certainly not a game we should have expected to win. First half was startlingly bad, but bounced back nicely.
    On the WBB side – what should expectations have been going into that one? Is Monmouth typically pretty solid? A win is a win, regardless!

    Beat ‘gate!!

    We should have won this game handily. We played ourselves out of it. Next game is Kutztown who Monmouth beat by 30 in an exhibition. Time to work out some bugs and give the bench some court time.
