Their favorite thing to do on that Board is whine about officiating.

At least at the Bucknell board the majority are pretty respectful of Tim’s and the team’s accomplishments, even if they won’t be sending us any Christmas cards. If you want whiners, try the losers over on the Pards’ board. Though I’ll give them some leeway, considering how bad they were this year.

Expect game will be a barn burner. Tough to beat anyone 3 in a row.

On the topic of beating a team 3x. Not suggesting anything about the outcome tomorrow, just that the beating a team 3x notion is tough is not necessarily backed up by results.

The outcome of games like this can change careers. If we win it would give coach Reed three NCAA berths to go with a rather good overall 10 year record. Would it put him back in the rumor mill for bigger jobs? If Bucknell wins, would Nathan Davis have other opportunities after just two years with the Bison? A little early for this kind of thinking, and just hoping for the win……….

Interesting article, Bum. Hope it holds up.

I agree that if Reed gets another NCAA berth, this would be a good time for him, personally, to move on. He will be depleted next year, with loss of two critical seniors.

Final numbers are in (Source: College Basketball Reference)

    Player Games Points Rebounds

    TK, Jr. 123 2,043 1,091
    Muscala 133 2,036 1,093

So, TK in 10 less games played (+7 in points, -2 in rebounds)
    Both with 2 POY Awards.

    TK, Sr. 107 927 597

So, he did pretty good in comparison to the old man.

I think Tim can play at the next level. He’s not going to be a dominant low scorer in the post, like college, as he is not athletic enough, or a quick or high jumper. Also, not going to be a rim protector. But, he is already starting to show much improved range to his game. At the next level, he could be a big man with range. Solid positional rebounder.
