Miller still dont like Yosha. Never said anything nice about him :) Just said Brags wouldnt have played over him because of LU coaches. I wouldve preferred Brags! I know what I say, you obviously dont. Its ok ;)

Remember The Titans 2. Now out in theaters starring Lehigh Guy as coach Herman Boone and just a fan appearing as coach Bill Yost. You gonna take the team back to Gettysburg? Where is the popcorn?

    Like I have said before

CB and Lineman are extremely hard to recruit!

If you are a 3 star D-lineman and are 6-5 and 285 most D-I schools are going to give you a look!-

As for DBs if you can tackle and run under a 4.5 it is probably almost impossible for a PL school to get a look

I hate to say it but what the PL receives is the leftovers or players who want an education over football

Recruiting is a hard business- players are spoiled – they will go to a school that gives them the most!

Most of us have gone on recruiting visit- Syracuse – is building a 17 million dollar complex JUST FOR FOOTBALL
how do you compete with this?- Syracuse is not a good football program and there are players on Lehigh who could probably play in a program like Syracuse and Rutgers- Villanova etc.

Bill Yost!!! I love it. Straight comedy!! With that being said… Braggs is a decent back but not special. JMU back was special.. Princeton back is special… Fordham back is special. I totally AGREE with LG you need a back that can make the 1st defender miss in this offense… you know a special BACK when you see 1.. he’s good just not special, and thaTs OK it really is. He is tough hard nose and a great kid… heard him talk with his family after the game at Bucknell he speaks really well…

    I WANT WINNERS!!

And quick note all the DB’s on the field were primarily WR in high school not true corners… you have really train and specialize in that position and I just don’t think they do on there own or in the off season…

    just a fan,
Exactly who are you referring to other than Raye-Redmond, who IMHO will fully make the transition to starter next year. As far as I know, everyone else were outstanding DBs in HS.

    Beat me to it :).
Most of the 2 ndary played both ways in HS. Redmond and Siegenthaler were primarily RBs. McCloskey also. All the others were primarily DBs. Ripanti was an A-S FB.
Off season developementis limited in the summer to physical regime. Coaches are allowed to conduct skills mini camp programs for players. LU does.
While I get it would be ego boosting to get 3* recruits at every position, that a recruit isn’t one is not predictive of how good a player is.
I have looked at all the video of KW that I could find. I am at a loss to see what some others claim. He is very athletuc and finishes his tackles. He may not be a sub 4.5 guy but he is not slow by any definition of that term. A great prospect at SS.

Just noticed that Woetzel had 13 carries for 195 yds and threw for 2 more TDs while causing a fumble on defense.
Of course the other team may have been been bad for a team that was 4-1. Probably didn’t play anyone..slow too. :-)

:-) Indian Hills is a top program. Ramapo did well to win tonite. KW certainly covered all the bases. Ah well, you must be right just silly stats vs a slow team. What was Andy thinking? :):):)

It’s been awhile since we had a back who could slash between the tackles. Keep in mind, Brags is only a freshman and will grow, get stronger, and a little quicker with the training. He has the potential to be another Gardner, imo.

Could be. Lets not have DB return any punts tho. :) If he can stay healthy ,bet he will surpass Gardner.

Noticed that Ramapo won their section championship over the weekend. As seems to be the norm, Woetzel passed for 2 TDS on 11-14, ran for 100+ and a TD and intercepted a pass. This kid is an athlete. I’m high on him.

That’s pretty consistent with his game stats all yr. Good catch TMH. Just finished reading the write up.
Andy does seem to be focused on upgrading S positions.
