One last comment on Lehigh BB recruiting:
Entering the next season, LU will have two “big men” and a third who mostly plays outside and focuses on 3 point shooting. In addition, there will be another new player who has height but is thin and “raw” according to the commentary on this board. There is one 6’5″ + incoming freshman who appears to be an excellent but will not be a post up player. Away from them, there are many guards even after those that have transferred out. The explanations I have read include that it is extremely difficult to attract other bigger players because of the existence of TK and also that it is not unusual to have a guard centric team – 11 or 12 last year?
I looked at the Lafayette website. Their incomimg class has two power forwards – 6’7″ and 6’8″ and one 6’10” center – along with a 6’6″ wing and a 6′ guard. They join a team with a 6’10” freshman and two forwards (freshman and sophomore) that are 6’8″. The team will have six guards – two of which are 6’5″ and 6’6″.
