The women’s brackets were announced and Lehigh made the field as a 13 seed. They will face off against Iowa State in Ames, Iowa this Sunday night.

A pretty good seed and a pretty good matchup for the Lady Hawks. Looking at this bracket – Virginia, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Lehigh, and Iowa State – Lehigh could possibly make it through this bracket to face UConn in the Sweet 16.

This is one to watch. Wouldn’t it be something if a Lehigh team played in Dayton – and it was something that all of Lehigh wanted to happen!

Lehigh definitely has the ability to win this game. ISU will be more physical, but LU has beaten teams more physical than them this year. Best of luck women! Let ‘er rip!!

Ouch! They’re talking about expanding the men’s field. Perhaps, they should consider shrinking the women’s field. While there appears to be some parity on the men’s side, the gap between the haves and have nots in the women’s tournament is almost embarrassing. A 37 point loss between a 13 and 4 seed does not indicate any parity. First round margins for 1-16 were 56, 33, 39, and 32 and for 2-15 were 34, 35, 28, and 29. Geez! Not sure getting waxed is all that much of reward for winning a League title.

I watched the game. LU women kept trying. Iowa was a huge team and tough to defend. What a great season for the women. Thank you seniors.
