Enjoy. If Lehigh gets things together this week – and I’m optimistic they can – I think they can win this thing, partially thanks to a slew of unfortunate injuries on the Crimson side.

Noticed in Crimson paper that Hatch cleared to play altho Capple still listed as starter. I do hope they save hatch for the IL season. Without Hatch they are a running squad almost exclusively. Tough losing Shauder as best Harvard D are the 2 DTs. Express article noted lack of many big plays by LU O. Coen answered that lack mostly due to this ,that and the other thing. In games I saw we did throw some long balls just not successfully. Lum has a good arm but his passes over 25-30 yds seem to float towards the end.

I too expect a close game up in Mass. Key as always is fewer mistakes and busted plays. Wish I could figure out what is up with our 2ndary.

With high winds (gusts over 40) in the forecast, I don’t see the long ball or distant sideline passes coming into play. When forced to pass you can expect both teams to keep it short and look over the middle – something Lum has shown comfort doing. Here I think we stand on somewhat equal quarterback footing, assuming Hatch stays on the Harvard sidelines. This game, more than most, could come down to the play of the 7 guys up front. Difficult to watch but a lineman’s dream, I’m sure.

RichH is right on the floaters, particularly last game.

I believe you can watch and/or listen to game via Harvard: http://client.stretchinternet.com/clien … rd.portal#

Of course, Crimson games cost about 50 percent more than LU games (liberals up in Mass.) …

Just watched the clips of the Cornell game.

No way is Harvard going to run through LU like it has the other teams. QB doesn’t look great, either, but you never know with passes.

    Loved Harvard’s punter.

This game could be a lot closer – more favorable to LU — than many people think. LU can’t make a lot of errors, though.

    I hope I don’t eat my words.
