Looks like a nice recruiting class – can’t wait for football to start.

I was surprised at the numbers. I was expecting 17-20..Plowing some new territory, too. Hope springs eternal, but I like the emphasis on defensive players.

I am more impressed with this class than I had realistically expected. More speed than I originally thought with Burke, Haupt, Soto, BB strong arm and agile.
Layton reminds me of Richie Owens. Halliman kid intriguing Both FBs impressive.
As Andy said this class gives us solid depth across the board . With 17 starters back , no excuses this year . Nova and UnH tough games but Andy MUST get this team to win close games .We all need at least an 8-3 record. Spring practice soon.

A much better group than, I think, any of you imagine. Blew the top off the Patsy Ratings.

Carney we all appreciate the time and effort you put into your annual Patsy Ratings. It gives all us Patriot League football junkies something to do while we wait for spring practice to begin. With the AGS board down, where are you going to post them?

    I am considering championshipsubdivision.com

but I’m holding out hope for LFN’s proposed Patriot League site. Need to get this moving though. Three schools have already reported.

Andy has proven again that he is a good recruiter now he must prove he can be a Head Coach. OOC games actually mean something outside of the IL. I hope he gets it finally. :?

Whatever Chuck comes up with will be good. Hell, all of the grown up fans will flock to that board . the rest can stay with the CS board and be as vulgar and sophomoric as they like.

Everyone knows that Andy Coen is good guy and is well liked by the players. Lehigh fans have been hoping for 4 years that he figures out how to be an effective head coach. I must admit that as each year goes by I am less and less optimistic that he is ever going to figure it out. Most of us were anticipating that he was going to make changes to his coaching staff as a sign that things would be different this year. However, so far that doesn’t seem to be happening.

Reported on ‘cs.com’ that Cecchini is indeed out at The Citadel…We need to get him back here and really light a spark under the offense! He knows what Lehigh football is all about. Brown is without a clue.

I would love to have Cecchini back.I really dont think he will have any problem getting another job somewhere. Andy very loyal,I doubt he will can Brown . Real Q is whether there is another spot with enuf$$ to lure him here. Dont think so.

His loyalty is one of the positive traits that makes Coen so well liked. However, he chose a career that demands tangible results. If he stubbornly refuses to replace an ineffective coordinator, it could cost him his job.
