Unfortunate news the Minotti will not wrestle this weekend at EIWA due to complications from his knee surgery. Really a shame as he is ranked #8. Ian Brown will likely bump up to 157 or Longo. Both are real scrappy and could surprise, but inexperienced, which can result in being set up for big moves. This really puts a dent in our chances to take down Cornell.

Disappointed but given chatter not surprised. The hope is that his career is not over.

Minotti has been through several wars over the course of his wrestling. Multiple shoulder surgeries, knee issues, might be wise to call it a career. Ian Brown is a capable replacement and will score a lot of points. Lehigh will win the Easterns.

We have a decent shot but Cornell has 5 # 1 seeds. They lack our depth across all 10 classes.

    Cornell will have #1 seeds at 133, 157, 174, 184 and maybe 165. However, I like Preisch over Pickett at 165 and Lehigh could also win 125, 141, 149, 184 (stretch), 197 and 285.

:) A stretch, huh?? Oh, I would love to see Mate take Dean.Preisch,if 100%,could take gold. We will get points at every class. Could have 8 medalists.

I doubt that Wolfe will do much, too small for that weight. Beckman could crap the bed as she has been doing all season or finish as high as 2.
