While LFNADMIN wrote too long about Montreal, I enjoyed his point.

Montreal is an incredible city — for sports and otherwise. You feel like you’re in Europe.

My favorites are Les Expos — never got to see them play there (but they had cool ballcaps); Le Impact (a great venue next to Olympic Stadium), and Les Alouettes — crappy football, but a strange game in a scary stadium (nice setting) with multilingual announcers.

Thanks for reminding me why Montreal is a great, out-of-the-way place to visit. Wish I could go more often.

Any Lehigh sports folk ever hail from Montreal?

Not that I can recall. Do recall a Canadian Bball player ,who came from that area, altho not from Montreal. Cassesse gets recruits from Canada. None have been listed from Montreal. No idea whether any of the towns could be suburbs.

Thanks, sundayamqb. Montreal is a great city, and Quebec is a really unique place. I’ll try to be more concise next time though :)
