My Lehigh Football "Complaints" After Fordham Game

My biggest complaint right now is that Lehigh scores so fast I can’t type up all the play-by-play on the Twitter feed or post clever videos. Man, they make my life harder…

have to be a nit picker to complain (and I am not complaining), but I will throw out missed tackles as my biggest pet peeve, D has improved in this area immensely and only need one hand to count them now

My pet “peeve” is that I only get to see our offense for 3 quarters. I’m kidding.

Honestly it has to be the safeties. They get beat deep every game. Somebody is always running free behind them. They just look so slow. If you watch every game you know this to be true. They can’t tackle very well either. Both of these issues will cost us sooner or later. I count maybe 7x I remember receivers being overthrown or under thrown or just flat out dropped the ball

In fact, the secondary has been the most improved unit, 2016 to 2015, by far.

I said I was being honest. Obviously u haven’t watched all the games. TRuth hurts I guess. Secondary has faced horrible QBs throughout the yr, we’ve addressed this. But let’s enjoy our win streak n hopefully clinch the PL title this week!

LG is right that the secondary has been beat deep a few times but pass was not on target, however I would not go so far as “somebody is always running free behind them” and I also agree that secondary is greatly improved from last year

if we are being honest and reasonable, these guys are playing at a pretty high level right now with no glaring weakness, but there is always room for improvement and the players talk of getting better each week in almost every interview,

Biggest complaint,only 6000 for a championship game. Long for the days of 12000-13000 for home games. Not sure why or what the answer is. I thought it was the down years recently, but this team is certainly exciting enough to draw better.

Agreed on the attendance woes.

One two cents: My pet peeve is having Shaf run so much he gets in harm’s way. Hard to get better when you keep playing hurt.

Luckily we’ve gotten to the third string at least twice this year.

My pet peeve…that this thread reminds me way too much of when all the fans on here were talking about NCAA seeding before HC beat Lehigh at Stabler in the PLC basketball ‘ship last year.

What’s wrong with waiting until the team has achieved its goals before gloating?
