Girls played very well vs a very good team. Came back in 2nd half from a double digit deficit. They dont yet know how to finish.

Let’s not ignore the big elephant in the room. The coaches. Team down very quickly first quarter. Comes back in second half only because CBU went nuts for 4 minutes with 9 in a row. 2.1 seconds to go and you don’t have a safe inbound play? Do you still have a time out? 0.6s and this kid has plenty of time to get open and make a shot 35 feet away?? Complete confusion on D and bad switches. What were they told to do?
Questionable substitutions again and should I remember everyone that we, once again, had a size advantage that we neglected to use? Stop tweeting, texting, posting about the career highs (especially when you lost 10 in a row). Publish the PER instead and take responsibility for the results.

The end of the game was frustrating and the team still takes too many bad shots but I was encouraged by the performance against Navy. Down 18 and they come back to get a 5-point Lead! You can start to see what this team could be as these freshmen mature and improve.HH could be a special player at both ends of the floor.
Questions remain: No ME and one minute for KB, why?

    Hawktalker,
My guess is “DNP – Coach’s decision”
They don’t fit in their plans. KB has never been given a fair chance and the post players don’t fit in a run and gun offense.

Caught the replay of the buzzer-beater – as everyone who watches ESPN did. D on that play didn’t look bad; shot was challenged by a big, and very nearly blocked. I don’t think the shooter makes that very often.
Best you can do is force a difficult shot.

That’s not where they lost the game IMH, it’s just before that with 2.1 to go and they turn it over on the inbound play.
