A lot of ifs here. But say we win and make tourney. And we get a game in New York is there anyone on here thinking about making the trip. I deff want to go if we advance there and play close to home. Wonder if buses would be running up or anything
March 8, 2016 at 12:49 am #25941If we get there, I’m going. Wherever.
March 8, 2016 at 3:11 am #25946I will definitely be in Brooklyn or Raleigh. Don’t think I would make it to Des Moines.

As some of you know, I root for multiple teams, but if Lehigh, Villanova, AND St. Joe’s (and/or Temple) all were placed in Brooklyn, I’d probably try to get up there. I typically don’t attend NCAA Tournament games (in fact I’ve never been to one) because I follow multiple teams and like to keep tabs on all the games in the tournament, especially on the first two days.
March 8, 2016 at 4:08 am #25949When’s the first game? Which days?
March 9, 2016 at 2:16 am #25963It is looking increasingly, with the number of wild and wacky upsets, that Lehigh, should they win tomorrow, will be in the 15 line. Lunardi has us playing No. 2 seed Michigan State right now:

Austin Peay, Wright State, Florida-Gulf Coast, Hampton, and Texas Southern have already wrapped up the lower seeds, and with Farleigh Dickinson shocking Wagner tonight, that seems, IMO, to be the clincher.
The bad side the this is, the 15 lines are all matchups that are far from the Lehigh Valley (St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Spokane). If we survive the War tomorrow, my dream matchup on the 15 line is Oregon in Spokane.
March 9, 2016 at 2:25 am #25964Hmmmm… Blazers in town? (I have no idea how far Spokane is from Portland).

Spokane is quite far from Portland and Seattle. It’s not too far from Cheney, Washington, where Eastern Washington plays, and not too far from Idaho.
Ballpark guess, 5+ hours from Portland?
March 9, 2016 at 2:53 am #25973Ouch. Guess we’ll need the LFN commuter jet to make that happen. Is it booked?
March 9, 2016 at 2:54 am #25974but a lovely drive down the Columbia Gorge
March 9, 2016 at 3:54 am #25976Totally unrelated, but anyway: If St. Mary’s from the WCC doesn’t get an at-large bid, I’m losing confidence that the PL will ever get one in my lifetime. Granted, with the conference tourney chaos, it’s a strange year – but still. They are #33 on KenPom, and they might miss.
March 9, 2016 at 3:06 pm #25980Lunardi this morning Lehigh 16 in Raleigh vs. UNC. Couldn’t get a tougher matchup, basically played most talented team in the country 10 minutes from their campus.

The one I wonder about is Monmouth. They have all those power conference wins… in December. In February they were a lot less formidable with the targets on their backs. I think they might be out.
