Alex O’Connell 6-5 SG
January 15, 2016 at 3:37 pm #24846Added to 2017 list. Garza certainly looks like a reach – but hey, you gotta play to win! O’Connell’s interest list leads me to believe that he’ll continue to gain high-major interest – but he goes to Micco Brisker’s HS (Milton). Maybe that could help our case?

LU not back for another week. Hope the news picks up. Looking forward to Cornell.March 4, 2016 at 8:53 pm #25892Jalen Gabbidon
He is already on our list but recently stumbled upon his name. He just be the Dom Bragalone of PA basketball. Perhaps discounted because he plays for a low level team but here are his stats for this year
http://highschoolsports.pennlive.com/player/jalen-gabbidon-2/
Yes, he averages 37 ppg in his junior year with 5 games over 50 including 1 60 point game.
Here is what CIBL has to say about him
March 4, 2016 at 10:01 pm #25895Looks like most of the PL after him, but small school Central PA guy, so a crapshoot, as lesser competition. I assume his AAU squad would see better competition when they travel to tournaments. Sounds like an AP skill set, with perhaps a little more athleticism. I’m always impressed by that level of scoring, no matter the competition. Kid can obviously put it in the hole. That’s 37 points per in games with 8 minute quarters, quite a rate. Over a point a minute, and the 50 and 60 point games are just nuts.
April 17, 2016 at 9:39 pm #26471Quick note from here in Allentown on Sam Iorio (’17 prospect). Lehigh Valley sports rumor mill says Lehigh should “forget about it.” Grandfather played for Villanova, and Jay Wright calls “all the time”.

Unless he grows 3 inches or more to get to 6’9″ or over he has No shot there. He is a patriot leager
April 17, 2016 at 10:42 pm #26473I lack any expertise to even guess whether Iorio could play at Nova. Seems unlikely. Is it possible that Wright wants him as a WO?
April 18, 2016 at 1:04 am #26474In regards to Sam iorio. I have seen him play a ton of times. I go to almost all the parkland games. Sam is a really good player. He is a hell of a three point shooter. Also has a good mid range. It’s tough to say in college what he would be. I think he is to small to play the 4. I worry about his ability to bang down low and rebound at the next level. I think he will end up going to a team outside the patriot league. But I think he make a really good player in this league. I dunno if nova be a good fit. For what’s it’s worth. PArk head coach Andy Stephens is good friends with jay. The whole team been going to a Villanova camp. So that’s also on SAMs side
April 18, 2016 at 1:05 am #26475I still want to see lehgh land emmaus kachelries. This kid is special
April 18, 2016 at 2:52 pm #26477Some new video available on ’16 PG Vaughn Covington, who once held a Lehigh offer (unknown status currently). Looks fairly solid against top notch competition. Would appear to still fit.
April 18, 2016 at 10:57 pm #26479Although still a project, I prefer Talek. He has worked incredible hard and has a huge upside. I don’t think Iorio can play The four at the Nova level with out size and I don’t think he is quick enough for 3 at that level. Don’t get me wrong I would love to have him, but I think he is a mid major player without growth that very one expected he would have over the past few years. Kachelries, I have not seen enough to have a feel.
