Stout has already committed to Lafayette.
August 20, 2016 at 12:21 am #27498Yea Kyle agreed with them awhile back
August 29, 2016 at 12:58 pm #27647
3 offers
Marques Wilson G 6’4 Okla
Logan Strom F 6’8 240 Neb
Caleb Bennett G 6’4 Misso
Caleb Bennett has narrowed his list to 4, and we’re still in the hunt. The other 3 are UTEP, FIU, and UNI. Recruiting sites have him visiting LU on 9/3, and list him with 3 stars. I need to catch up on the list…
August 31, 2016 at 11:46 pm #27695OK, I think I’ve got the list up to date. Looks a lot less bloody now – yellow are new additions to the list. Some of those are not so recent; I was behind on updates.
September 1, 2016 at 12:12 am #27696In getting caught up, I think I came across one that we had missed – Logan Strom, PF. Two-sport athlete, hoops and football. Recently opted for hoops in college; offer list is good, but not out of our reach imo. Others have mentioned it here, I think – but I like the two-sport guys. Tells me something about athleticism, and makes me wonder what they can accomplish when focused on just one sport.
September 1, 2016 at 12:25 am #27697The list is a lot prettier now
The odd thing about Strom was that I caught him doing a football search. Saw his offer list and I thought of Maneri. Oh well. Did a follow up and saw the Bball offer.
I love multi sport recruits. Remember Andrews who waited to commit til after Bball season. He was being recruited much more heavilt for Bball than football. He chose education.September 1, 2016 at 12:30 am #27698The article about Strom says he may visit LU…
September 1, 2016 at 12:31 am #27699To anyone’s knowledge – have we ever had a 2-sport athlete? Makes schollie counts messy, i bet…
September 1, 2016 at 12:35 am #27700Yup. He is more athletic than Maneri but still a banger. A bit puzzled by the raft of tall white guys Doc is recruiting but other than Holba none of them are inside players.
September 1, 2016 at 12:48 am #27701Only ones I can think of recently.
Mitchell Fball and lax
Knott and Gaul Track and Fball.
They were all need aid.
Dont think we will see many at least not for football. Up to Andy I guess.
Big issue is a recruited kid with a schollie to play lax who also wants to do football. That aid would count vs Andy’s cap. I could see a scenario with a super star getting a 1/2 from Kevin and Andy.
Other than wishful thinking :-), I dont think we’ll see a bunch. Not that we ever did.
Another Jon Rushatz appears on our doorstep Andy would be a fool not to share him with Wrestling.September 1, 2016 at 10:26 pm #27712Looks like we’ve got some interesting 2-guard visits this weekend. Don’t know if they are officials. Saw this from Caleb Bennett:

And this from Marques Wilson:

From his offer list, I think that’s either us or Bucky. Could of course be any of the other billion schools in PA, who haven’t showed up on his list – but I’m being optimistic…
September 6, 2016 at 3:18 am #27863When did lance Tejada transfer here. I must have missed that. I’m usually up on this stuff ha. Also I remember group member tmh saying there is some event or meeting that Lehigh holds. That people can go to suggest ideas they have for the upcoming season. I forget what the name of it was.
September 6, 2016 at 3:23 am #27864IIR Tejada committed in the Spring.
September 29, 2016 at 1:43 pm #28429Matt Pile, a 6’9 big from Kansas who had Lehigh in his final four schools committed to Omaha.
October 3, 2016 at 5:33 pm #28546Sebastian Much committed to Princeton. List is up-to-date – and the list of remaining available frontcourt players is getting very thin. I hope we’ve got one coming.
