Jesse Green says he’s going down to the New England Wrestling Championships in a limo.

Kiddingly, of course, but the Winnacunnet High School senior is headed that way as are teammates Victor Peters, Mike Sullivan and Matt Sullivan.

All four Warriors finished in the top three of their weight class at Saturday’s Meet of Champions at Nashua North High School.

Peters, who found himself down, 4-2, entering the second period, kept saying to himself "I’m not going to lose," and when Burke threw what Peters called "boots" at him, "I reversed him to his back."

"I was ready for it," added the 17-year-old senior from Hampton, who will attend Lehigh University this fall on an academic scholarship. He’s also planning to try out for Lehigh’s nationally ranked wrestling team as a walk-on.

All the power to him!! Remember Tom Hutchison who ‘walked on’ back in the 1970’s and became an Eastern Champ. :D
