Notes up. No changes.
Bye week rust a concern but should not be a clise game. So likely it will be for a while. LC #1 pass D in PL. More due to worst rush D in PL I think.November 19, 2016 at 5:16 am #29449I wonder much of the the leopard #1 pass defense is due to the fact that they are the only team (other than Lehigh) not to have faced Lehigh’s pass offense.

November 19, 2016 at 10:22 pm #29458Very appropriate musical interlude. The only thing missing is, “The eagles they fly high at Lafayette”.
November 20, 2016 at 1:14 am #29465My favorite part of the game was when the Lehigh Fans started to boo the nonsense called the Lafayette Pep Band who once again was intent to keep the 97 from beginning their performance until there were less than 4 minutes. The 97 finally had enough of it too. and came on at 7:30 left in the period.
Admittedly I don’t see a lot of halftime sharing by bands anymore (here in the Harrisburg area, in HS, The hosts play before the game starts, and the visitors halftime), but when it was common, it was visitors then home, like 8 minutes each
November 20, 2016 at 3:24 am #29468Most unusual item of the day was the Marching ’97 driving the LC ‘pep’ band off their field! I searched out the drum major after the game and congratulated him his “Charge of the Light Brigade”…only this time victorious. ‘pards really showed no class in trying to prevent ’97 from playing. Really an inferiority complex they have about their pathetic state of affairs on College Hill.
November 20, 2016 at 3:29 am #29469Missed that. He promises video for tomorrow.
November 20, 2016 at 12:05 pm #29473any word on Brags or Caslow injuries?
November 20, 2016 at 12:18 pm #29474Brags was reportedly just exhaustion. Caslow however was on crutches. No prognosis was given but I have to think it is very unlikely that he could play on Saturday if at all this year. I thought Kauffman did a really good job filling in for him against Monmouth.
November 20, 2016 at 1:43 pm #29476We got a bunch of sh!t pregame, not surprising the ’97 got some at halftime. We had our cars searched by LC security as we pulled into the visitors lot the Football Partnership had our tailgate. Allowed a six pack per adult, anything else had to be left at gate. To this, our Partnership leader declared:
“2-8 as a team, 2-8 as an institution”
So true. And now 2-9.
November 20, 2016 at 2:20 pm #29477I’m petitioning Rich to put the leopard fans on the bank next year too. After 45 years our seats were still firmly implanted in the end zone and yet almost the entire section to the inside of us was empty.
However the scoreboard made it all worth it.November 21, 2016 at 12:48 am #29511This is the sheeet I was referring to on my LU starters thread. Why the foooook was caslow playing up 3 tds in 4th with less than 10 min to go, dumb as foooook!
November 21, 2016 at 12:51 am #29512Agreed.EK there to step in which he did just one play too late. Dumb move. EK will not hurt us tho at UNH.
