One down and two to go. Bausher comes up huge at the plate and in the circle. Next game tomorrow morning at 10:30. Be there is you can.

I gather it was a pretty nice crowd showing today – true?

I don’t have a count but the turnout was really nice especially with other athletes. It may have been mandatory with women’s basketball….kidding.

Side note….Emily Bauscher was a star pitcher for New Egypt H.S. which competes in Group 1 which I believe the smallest schools in New Jersey. It translated quite well to the college game…..again teasing!!!

Tomorrow morning’s game is the key….win that one and some team will have to win two games against the league’s best pitching.

It seemed like a lot more but then again, the Colgate and Bucknell teams were in the stands too. I thought the attendance was better than expected for a Thursday afternoon on the 3rd day of finals.

Looking at photos definitely more in attwndance. Bucknell tomorrow will be tougher than when we beat them early in the season. Win and pretty much a lock for us. Dont see anyone here beating us 2 in a row.

    Pheeew.
Who knew that we would need a key hit by Calvini in the 7th to win a game in which we were leading 4-0 with 2 innings to go and Bausher on the mound?

Tomorrow softball championship at noon and baseball at 1:00.

Playing for all the marbles at noon. Baseball also appears to start at the same time, and video stream is available for both.

Great weather and environment for the game today. The seats were essentially all filled with quite a few along the fences. Emily will need a trophy case for a greduation present this year. The girls will find out tomorrow night at 10:00 PM which regional tournament they will play in. I believe it will be on ESPNU.

I haven’t paid much attention historically; how rough is our draw likely to be?

It will always be rough. There are 16 regionals of 4 teams with double eliminations. Lehigh is currently ranked #65 in the country so chances are very high that we will be the bottom seed in any bracket. It would be nice if we were placed in a bracket with a double digit ranked #1 seed.

Great game today. Put pressure on the Bison from the get-go with the two bunts and manufacturing that first run. Bauscher was sharp giving up only three hits (that triple was a 3 base error). Team is very balanced, and with a break or two could raise some eyebrows. I remember a few years ago when they beat Texas A&M in the first round and almost pulled off another. Good Luck!
