I think Andy mentioned last week that Githens was a walk on or “walk-on type player” in his interview. I may be wrong but have no time to check it now.

The true edge of 5th yr seniors. There are few frosh at our level that can successfully transition to college ball as frosh. Even those that can are at a disadvantage to a player 2-3 yrs older.
Right now we are relying on
    The Bs at RB
    Walker at LS
Mish at K plus numerous frosh as backups.
Expect with our youth we will see lots of ups and downs.

He can play so for me no difference. Saw Andy’s comment. He finishes tackles .We need stability in the backline. Tough to highlight sophs but that’s what we have.

    Funny you say that Rich.
I may be wrong but I think he was the one who missed the tackle on the short pass that turned into a long TD. Not long after that, I believe he got the interception. He apparently didn’t let it get to him. He made plenty of other tackles.

Yup and he was out of position when Rigaud got toasted. Ups and downs of underclassmen.I’ll take the plays, game time will take care of the rest.

Very true. Patience needed. We can be a very competitive team this year, but I see next year as the year we should ‘expect’ to make a run at the championship. We’d need some help and luck to make a run at Fordham this year, but as for the rest of the league we are all similar.

:) LG is getting his wish, play the kids. Well we have . Injuries haven’t helped so far. Then I look at devastation over at Pards. They are down to 7 OL. Last starter lost in Tiger game. Starting 3 fr.They also lost their top RB.
