OL and WRs have certainly been strengths so no surprise that these 2 would be of interest to others, would hate to lose either one of them

Think Brisson is also the recruiting coordinator. Think both the o-line and receivers are going to take a big step backwards after next year. Alot of seniors.

Kelsey is essentially entering his junior year since last year he got hurt in Week 2, so he’ll have a injury shirt if he cares to use it. Bianchini is also a good player, which you may also see next season. Cristiano and Gamble also figure to be in the mix as well, so I’m not seeing where the “big step backwards” is, unless you’re saying that the standard is Lehigh might be losing two FCS Top 25 receivers to graduation/the NFL next year when Pelletier and Casey graduate.

just saying it will be hard to replace approx 6 guys on offense without missing a beat.

You can’t be critical of anyone wanting to improve their lot in life and every decision is very personal. If they move vertically to a coordinator at this level or a position coach at the FBS level, more power to them. Strictly from a personal view however, if the proposed move is lateral, I would be very hesitant to make the move this off-season. Odds are pretty good that one’s resume may get significantly better if they function on the offensive side of the ball if they stay at Lehigh.
    Just my opinion.

[/quote]agree there is a lot to replace at WR and OL after next year, not sure what is in the OL pipeline as the starting 5 played almost all the snaps this year, believe there are some pretty darn good WRs in the pipeline, but of course the 2 graduating next year are pretty special

agreed. both will have a better resume if they stay one more year. dont know why marino wants to go, i dont think he wants to be an oc…brisson definitely does. delaware is a lateral move. maybe more money at delaware. coen probably making 400k. folmar and bot 75k. all others 40k??? anybody know these guys salaries? CANNOT SEE DELAWARE PAYING MUCH MORE…

Brisson is ambitious and that’s a commendable trait. But one more year with the pair of WRs that Lehigh brings back will enhance his resume, not hurt him.

No way Coen makes that much. Lucky if he is close to $200K
Next year should be better than this. That will be the time to make a major jump, though one never knows when certain doors will open, again.

    FWIW
UD board seems fairly certain that McCorkle OL coach ay UR is going with Rocco.

Delaware will not take a Lehigh position coach as an O-Coor. Folmar would be the target, ala Cecchini who was set to interview w Keeler the week before he was canned.

Any coach going to the Hens is not a lateral move…they’re CAA, plain and simple. Their recent lack of success doesn’t change that. We still have some room to go to close that gap.

Class of 2019 brought in 33 recruits under Brisson of which Mayes, Bragalone are members. Many of those 33 haven’t seen time yet but will be stepping up next year. If a great opportunity presents itself to Brisson of course he’ll move on, but I think there is a lot more to come from this team and his resume really gets a boost from moving into the Mayes era and building on last season. Receiving staff won’t suffer in 2017 and should set further PL records if they all stay healthy.
