Prediction for 151-
They say “throw the record out the window”. What they mean is that emotion counts in football. Lafayette will need plenty because their offense is as challenged as our D.
They win if we allow them to run like they did last year. We w I n with a first half like Georgetown,Cross games. Defense needs to harass quarterback. Our offense needs to pound the ball, establishing the run.
We win if we rush for 200 and hold them below 100.
Hawks 42, Leopards 21.
November 21, 2015 at 2:05 pm #23909Good prediction, marco!
My head is still spinning after last year’s total and inexcusable collapse. Many of the same decision-makers remain in place, so….
thank heavens for the Freshman class!I’ll go with Lehigh here, 38-28, but probably drink heavily throughout. So insecure.
November 21, 2015 at 3:10 pm #23910I’d be surprised if Lehigh wins by fewer than 2-3 touchdowns. Lafayette has played better in their last couple of games (though they couldn’t have played much worse before that), but Lehigh has also improved as the season has progressed.
November 21, 2015 at 9:33 pm #23911We won….well, the offense won. The defense must change. If we can hold teams to 24 points per game, we are contenders.
Really, what’s the reason for this?
Great win though.
November 21, 2015 at 9:58 pm #23912A W. Pretty on O,not so much on D. But,one big play by Caveness and Leaks.

November 21, 2015 at 10:56 pm #23915wasn’t pretty but felt much better than last 2 years
November 21, 2015 at 11:01 pm #23916O loses 2 OL and a TE. D loses 2 LBs,1 DL,2DBs.
Onto recruiting D players and staff.November 21, 2015 at 11:37 pm #23917One of the hallmarks, 1st tackle and first touchdown catch by seniors, Palma and Knott!
November 22, 2015 at 1:51 am #23921Great win today. The offense is outstanding and almost every skill position player comes back.
Question is, can the defense be turned around so the offense doesn’t have to score 50 to win. Or is the PL going to be the Big 12 of FCS footballNovember 22, 2015 at 2:06 am #23923Didn’t see much D anywhere in the PL this year. Ours??Four years of bad D. Thought we bottomed out last year. Perhaps we did. This year were flashes of good D and even a few quarters here and there. End result at least stat wise about the same. Every year I think D will get better. Sanguine about next year’s prospects. A lot of athletic ability but a disastrous lack of consistency.
November 22, 2015 at 4:16 am #23926Unless some changes are made on our approach to defense, we will be saddled with 5-6, 6-5 seasons with neck strain on watching tennis match-like offense. Remindful of the Small years, which were barely above .500 though “exciting”. I’d rather win alot with scores like 28-14 than muddling through around .500 with scores like 49-42. This team can be a Top 15 team over the next 2-3 years (barring serious injuries) if we can get some semblance of a defense. The only team in the PL that seems to play consistently good defense is Bucknell. Luckily their offense went MIA this year. Colgate has a bunch back next year, including their QB; Fordham will still have a lot of skill. We should be in that mix. We won’t get better by standing still.
November 22, 2015 at 4:53 am #23927My guess is this was DC’s last game. LU finds a stud DC and it could win PL next couple of years barring injuries. LU gave up almost 400 yards again today against an impotent offense and was outgained on the day. It is fun to watch, but D is frustrating
November 22, 2015 at 8:30 am #23929Lots of game balls for offensive performance. Perhaps none sweeter was watching senior RB Kee loosen up toward end of game and get call for final two rushes. Way to reward a kid for his investment past four years.
