Tigers have their game notes up.  Looks like most of their squad had considerable experience from last year sans the starting QB and #1 RB.  Considering that they were 1-9 last year with these guys, does not look good for them on Saturday.   Of course our friends from Easton contend that Princeton is one of the worst teams in the country and we should win by a ton.  Hope they are right for a change.

Our notes up, no change. Tiger D is decent. We wore them out. O was bad last yr. Dont see much improvement. If Bostic plays at qb it will be exciting. He is going to be very good.

QB looks like a big unknown for tigers, 2 untested Sophs listed as #1’s and Frosh as #2.  Yikes, and some of our guys were concerned about Colvin!

Anybody out there with a Princeton game report?  I haven’t been following really closely, but I assume a 3 point win vs. Tigers is troubling?  After 3 wins, what are the thoughts about how the rest of the season looks to shape up?

At the game, we dominated 1st half. Held on to win 2nd. O disappeared. D saved game. Article in Express by B& W best summaru or go over to AGS for game thread. Mike had great 1st half. 2nd we ran amd not very well. PU Dline ate us up. Dave very conservative ,partly bad field position. Spadola great day. Mike had 1 great drive in 4th to run the clock. We have scored 0 points in the 3rd period this yr. No clue why O does not show up in 2 nd half.. The D has been great. Would be nice if Dbs could catch. Left at least 2INTs on the field.

Bottom line, the defense saved the game. The O was non-existent in the first qtr too. The second half was really bad – two 1st downs.  Princeton is bottom of the barrell in the Ivy league and their first game!!  If the Princeton DB’s did not blow their coverage or stumble those few pass plays downfield would have not happened. Most all the passes are parallel to the line of scrimmage and nothing downfield.  Sorry to pick on the O but it is really bad.  Three games against bad teams and we barely win. Even CCSU was in question until Q4.  Regarding potential interceptions, Princeton dropped 2 as well.  We need some changes on O or we will lose against good teams (not many on our schedule though).  Way to go D!

How about three muffed punts inside our own 35 or 40, including two recovered by PU? Special teams almost lost this game. This part of the game has been our Achille’s heal for a while.
