Tiger strength is there 2ndary and skills on O. Agree owl,Tigers not as big, strong, old or fast as JMU. They are athletic and with Atwater can run well.
September 25, 2015 at 1:46 am #22057Penn beat Villanova 24-13. Robertson or not, that is a shocking score. Penn has generally played Villanova tough over the years but haven’t won. In fact, Penn hasn’t beaten Villanova since 1911. They’ve lost 14 straight since the series resumed in 1980…..
September 25, 2015 at 1:54 am #22058Penn better in 2nd game. Nova flat w/o QB and best RB. Still a shocking score. Guessing Nova slidds out if top 10. Course I hope ihat this was the smae Penn team we clobbered
September 25, 2015 at 2:08 am #22059So how would the line be on the LU/PU game now???? They still have time to change it, wonder if they will…IJS. Penn won, dont care who was out, #5 team in country that offers schollies. Makes we wonder about Fordham. Fordham is not Fordham of old, Columbia could have beaten them
September 25, 2015 at 2:25 am #22060A crazy start to NE football this year. Is this the same Penn? Nova still Should be markedly better talentwise than Penn. Bookie line shohld drop by at least 5 .
September 25, 2015 at 6:23 pm #22063Game Breakdown and fearless prediction. I have…. Princeton in a close one.

September 26, 2015 at 11:58 pm #22087A frustrating cluster fuck of a game. Shaf was great. He did all he could to get the win. WRs give up his 2 INTS. TP a great game gives up a strip for another TD. DB a great game. 4 TOs and some dumb penalties hamstrung O.
D ,some stops,a few great plays amid an ocean of pathetic play.
Scary to think we did no better than an injury depleted Pards on the scorboard. Stats ars neat but Ws are the only thing that ,atters.September 27, 2015 at 12:55 am #22088A roller coaster of a ride so far……….but 2-2 is where most thought we’d be. Need to get Yale and enter league with a winning record. Yale made adjustments and beat Cornell today.(scoring the final 26 pts). 2 more winnable games before the bye,4-2 would be nice………..but(fill in the blank)
September 27, 2015 at 1:04 am #22089The roller coaster expected by all of us. TOs,dumb penalties gave Tigers 21 pts and sabotaged Shaf’s efforts to get us the W.
For me,dont much like the ride, but the truly depressing part is D is not getting any better. Some brighter spots but missed tackles and big plays seem pretty constant.
Given PL so far we still have a shot at a winning season. Guess that’s a plus.September 27, 2015 at 1:11 am #22090Agree, O was pathetic. Does LU really have just 4 plays, my god this is D1 football. Quick pass to the right or left, run up the middle. O to predictable along with the turnovers. Horrible 3rd q blew the game open. PU had 25yds of O and 21 points in third at one point. I like Knott but he started it all, to many drops, he can’t catch a cold. #1 had one good play, I guess he solidified his starting for rest of yr! Horrible game for LU. The D wasn’t THAT bad. Don’t know what to say, embarrassing is only word that comes to mind
September 27, 2015 at 1:21 am #22091Well,even with a limited playbook,O performed well. Three giveaways by WRs ruined an otherwuse good good game. A 21 pt swing ,not even counting the onside J fiasco.
Well disagree on the D. Some good plays, even series amid the usual porosity. Yeah,O put D on some short fields but we missed tackles repeatedly all day. Tiger RBs gutted us.September 27, 2015 at 1:40 am #22092O was pathetic? Really?
They had 560 yards of offense. 360 yds passing, 200 yds rushing. 8 different receivers caught the ball. Turnovers killed us but we moved the ball at will. Nick and Dom played very well. Mish is a real weapon.
Want to complain about our defense however…go right ahead. One observation. Why are we still using a 265# NG when we have a 295# player on the end. Our NG was getting pushed all over the place. Just an observation.
September 27, 2015 at 1:45 am #22093Agree. Bottom line we didn’t score enuf points to offset our lack of a D. WR giveaways a minimum 21 pt swing.
Sansone hurt on crutches.September 27, 2015 at 2:29 am #22094We suck. Can’t tackle, cant catch, cant run, fumbles, interceptions, the play calling was horrible. It’s gonna be another very long year.
September 27, 2015 at 2:48 am #22095Just noticed that TP broke the Lehigh record with 15 receptions in the game
