Touche,TMH,touche….lmao. Now for those that go to the luncheons n conversate with the coaches, please tell them their DBs cant cover or tackle! Everyone sees it but them!
September 28, 2015 at 10:44 pm #22165Pretty sure TMH will hate this…

People I think are missing the role of momentum. Even down 24-13 the key loss in the second half was one of momentum, i.e. a turnover stopping key drives.
There was a point where Surace was breaking out 2- and 3- QB formations in an effort to disrupt our defense and to gain momentum. His use of that, you can argue, was how he won the game. They were successful using those plays, and it gave Princeton momentum. Was that smart of him to unleash that vs. us instead of against Harvard or Yale? Unclear at this point, but that’s what he did.
Surace did a great job of creating momentum for his team. Lehigh tried to create momentum, but every time killed their own momentum through unforced errors.
September 28, 2015 at 11:08 pm #22168Well done. Never happen but one can dream.Good perspective on game.
The only question for me now is will this team bounce back from this? Not sure what can be done for the D,if anything.
September 28, 2015 at 11:25 pm #22169Nice piece LFN. But you celebrated two of the players that most LU fans know are weak links on our D, the cbs. Yes they made those two plays, but what about the other hundreds that caused LU dearly. Seems like the coaches wrote that with you celebrating players that should be benched or challenged for their spots. Rich, the D can be better by making CHANGES, end of story. You think Urban or Harbaugh would keep toting those guys on the field that are detrimental to the team? No….because they know their jobs would be on the line. Our coaches dont have that fear
September 29, 2015 at 12:02 am #22170If you want Urban or that other a$$hole as a coach then think about leaving the valley. Money brings in coaches, so when you will not pay much more than a D3???? you get these results. Our really good coaches couldn’t wait to leave to finally try to make a living. We have talent, even the guys that get ripped on this board. We do not have coaches that can win(get the most out of their players) at this level.2nd year with young coaches should be better……NOT. Show me the money!
September 29, 2015 at 1:29 am #22171Chuck,
I don’t understand. What made you think I would hate it? It was a very nice article from everything I saw there, very accurate including all the stuff about Princeton’s stadium :-). Wish I knew you were going. I would have loved to chat.September 29, 2015 at 2:53 am #22172Chuck:
Good piece — you’re right about most of us expecting more after a 3-8 season with no returning RBs with playing time. You can blame the coaches for not getting enough guys in (Nana, FBs) last fall.
I do agree, though, you glossed over almost 500 yards of total offense for PU. That’s not going to suddenly go away in the coming weeks.
See new thread … called TOTAL DEFENSE

Very true. Kevin Higgins was the DC for those horrible track meets under Small. But Small insisted putting the best players on Offense. Higgins knew better and once he got the HC changed the philosophy.
September 29, 2015 at 4:27 am #22181Glad you liked it TMH. Thought the fact that I was celebrating/pointing things that were not on the stat sheet it might be tough for you to get through
