Expect Lehigh to be ranked #11 or better this week. #10 Richmond lost big and #12 S IL lost to unranked W IL.
#6 Delaware also lost to Maine, but they may still stay in top 10, Maine is pretty good this year.
#3 App St also lost, but to #8 Wofford, they won’t drop out of top 10.
Gotta clean up the errors, or we we get knocked off by someone in the conference. Keep wining and we get a first round bye.
October 2, 2011 at 2:18 pm #3690Lehigh should crack the top 10 this week. Delaware and Richmond should fall out and it’s possible that we leap frog W&M, which has no business being ranked where they are right now. They barely got by Villanova, which is very weak this year. My ranking prediction: 9th.
October 2, 2011 at 4:06 pm #3691Nice thought, but I would be shocked if we got to #9. #10 might be a possibility. #11 seems about right. W&M will fall soon enough. We need to keep winning and go into playoffs with a favorable bracket position (for a change).
October 2, 2011 at 6:25 pm #3692Which polls are you guys talking about?
there are four
here are Lehigh’s rankings from last week in each poll:
Lehigh Football Ranking, Sept. 26, 2011
11 – AGS
13 – TSN
14 – Coaches
15 – CSOctober 2, 2011 at 8:51 pm #3693TSN, in my opinion, is the most respectable. Coaches can’t figure out the difference between N Dakota St and N Dakota. AGS gets homer votes. Don’t follow CS.

Lehigh Football Ranking, Oct. 3, 2011 (last week)
8 – AGS (11)
10 – TSN (13)
10 – Coaches (14)
12 – CS (15)October 4, 2011 at 3:12 am #3702Anyone know how UNI can be consensus No. 2 when they lost to the No. 8/10 team in their final game last year?
October 4, 2011 at 3:44 am #3703Is Winnett off due to injury or stopped playing? Guy really suffered some serious injuries, maybe could never work his way back. He was a real shining prospect as a freshman. Similar question about Pellegrini–I see him in street clothes all the time on the sideline…is he done, physically but still helping out with the team or does he ever expect to suit up again??

That was last year. Polls based on who you’ve been beating or losing to this year.

I don’t know but Vinny I thought for sure would be in the OL rotation and Winnett likewise for DL. Heck Steele picked Winnett to be PL 2nd team preseason. DL has ridiculous depth , not so much on OL. A shame nonetheless for both kids.
