Quick note on Williamsport, my home territory…… it’s the only AAAA in Pennsylvania’a district 4. For years they had to travel to Harrisburg, Reading, State College, etc. to get games, particularly in basketball. Just so much bigger than all the locals. Similar to the situation with State College. They are still a state power in hoops from time to time. Finally settled into playing mostly in the Scranton Wilkes-Barre area’s Wyoming Valley Div. 1 for football. Useless trivia? I got it!

I’ve been giving this some thought…what little I have left. My hope is that we don’t focus too much on position and instead get the very best football players available, most of which are multi-dimensional. I’m focusing on speed, size and heart.
Although I fairly sure it isn’t accurate but I remember listening to the Colgate announcers saying that they really wanted Brags but didn’t have a RB schollie available. It is almost impossible to project growth, potential for injuries etc and where our needs will be 2 years from now.
    Just my opinion.

Best available athlete is ,I agree, always a prority. Even if its at a full stocked postion. Howard a prime example. Probably our best ST player. Anderson contributing there also.
There are times tho when specific spits are in need of depth or upgrade. S definitely near the top of that need list.
If Andy sticks to his prediction of a class of around 17,think need come first on the list. Andy wont be able to recruit clise to a full squad this year.

I think Indiana is hot on the trail of Williams but who knows?
St. Thomas Aquinas is an absolute powerhouse program. I think they were considered the top team in the nation not too long ago.
