Season opener is a Night Game!

The 2010 season opener (Sept 4th) at Drake is set for a 6:00pm (DesMoines), 7:00pm (Eastern) kickoff – per Drakes website.

Any chance that any of the other away games will be late starts?

Welcome BigDaddy. I think it’s likely that the rest will be day games. UNH last year didn’t have any night games: they all had 12PM kickoffs, and I think they don’t have lights at their stadium. I don’t think Fitton Field has them either at Holy Cross, and I also don’t think Georgetown will have them either. Unless "The Rivalry" will be played for the first time under the lights, I think they’ll all be day games.

That’s good to hear. Should actually help us both travel-wise and that it should be a lot cooler. It can be beastly hot in Des Moines in early September.
