Besides landing Nick Markus, Suits hired a new LB coach a few days ago.
    Mike Kashurba
He is the ex DC at Holy Cross. Prior to that he was a D asst at Bucknell after being DC at Alleghenny.
Reading his bio Mike is a successful and experienced D coach. While Cross Ds were usually undermanned they were always well coached.

    Rich,

You lost me. Who is Nick Markus and who is Suits? If Kashurba is an experienced and proven defensive coordinator why isn’t he our new defensive coordinator? For the last 5 years, our defense was arguably one of the worst, if not the worst, in all of FCS football. We need more than a new linebackers coach, we need a new coordinator with a fresh perspective and new scheme.

Markus is a DL from Georgia. A-S 1st team by Recruit Georgia 6’1 250, tweener sizewise but exceptionally talented. Also, Wrestling State champ.. SUits is a nickname for Coach Sutyak. :)

Markus looks good, maybe even as a middle linebacker. Oh, that’s right, we only have two linebackers.

Maybe we will have three once Kashurba gets his hands on the D. I was impressed at what he did at Bucknell. Should be an upgrade, but, then again, literally can’t get any worse than the worst D in FCS.

That Patriots-Eagles game remind you of anything?
