    Two very close Ls
    4-3 to Seton Hall
    5-3 to CMU
    Sorem has pitched fairly well. Boyd. Still has her troubles. Seems most every time out she has that bad inning. Today, 10 hit 5 runs in 6 innings.
    So far we havent hit that well but pitching is the key in college softball.
    Ours with Sorem is OK but ,so far,not good enough vs the teams we’ve faced. Guess we have to hope that these teams are all levels above us. Otherwise, its going to be a long season.

    Loy. Chicago 6-2
    LU now 2-10
    Sorem again very shaky. 4 inn,5runs 3 ER, 5 h,6w,1 K.
    Boyd up now for 2nd game.
    So far pitching has been mediocre to bad, hitting and defense inconsistent at best.
    Fran has his wotk cut out for himself this year.

    A W over CCSU (4-12)
    Boyd went the distance for the W.
    3-10

    One caveat most of our opponents have played a substantial numbers of games more than we have. A pretty big advantage this early in the season.
