hard to get much of a read on next year based on the spring game.

few surprises, lot of starters MIA due to injuries, mostly on offense, add Hagans to that list as he went down with some sort of leg injury, hope not serious

Was nice to see Colvin in non-wildcat situations, neither he nor Lum were particularly sharp working with a lot of different WRs.

Was hoping to see more of Bialkowski, but he got very few reps

Lot of running backs got action. Dormevil was a positive surprise and looks like the leading candidate for punt returns. Kablan was working as a WR where we have quite a bit of depth.

Secondary was having a good day, one of my concern areas with all 4 graduating. Familiarity with our offense and WRs probably a big advantage for the secondary in this type of controlled scrimmage.

So far behind. I finally got my recap of the Brown/White game up. The upshot: some nice bright spots, yet with a ton of questions still unanswered.

The biggest unanswered questions, to me, come on special teams. Hopefully the competition for long snapper will be a long one all summer, since in the limited amount of long snaps there were left a lot to be desired. Kicking will be interesting, too, though Divers looks like he’s got a real good leg – and even showed some good directional punting, too, in his limited opportunities.

I agree that Dormevil was a huge bright spot, and senior CB Kenyatta Drake looks like he’s got to get time in that defensive backfield with his 2 INTs and that fantastic return. He showed good anticipation on both picks.

Glad to hear that the punting looked good. The loss of Alex Smith is huge. He was such an integral part of last years drive to the championship. Here’s hoping that someone can step up and fill that need this year.

    He’s become ineligible.
