Penn Athletic Communications Director Mike Mahoney confirmed Monday that junior forward Henry Brooks and sophomore Julian Harrell were no longer on the team. These developments came less than a day after The Daily Pennsylvanian confirmed that freshman guard Tony Bagtas was recently dismissed from the team.

The article didn’t make it seem like it was anything other than playing time and getting new faces in there.

Doubt there would be interest as transfers require a scholarship even during the year they sit out. Assuming these guys wanted a scholarship at their next school, it wouldn’t be Lehigh barring someone leaving the program.

Tyrone Outlaw, who visited Lehigh officially, and was one of his two (or three) finalists before choosing UNC-Greensboro is also transferring. I think Lehigh would certainly have been interested in him for a second time if there was room on the roster, but there isn’t. I think Outlaw would be an excellent PL player. He averaged 5 points and 2 board for UNCG as a frosh while strangely losing playing time throughout the year. He scored in double figures the first 4 games of his college career, and by the end of the season went scoreless in the final two.
