I know it is a bit early to mention this. How difficult is it to get tickets to this game?

If you are ordering from Lehigh the tickets are harder to get when the game is at Lafayette, which it will be in 2010. However, they can still be obtained but you should act quickly when the tickets become available.

Last year, tickets I believe went on sale about a month before the start of the season and sold out quickly. You’ll probably want to check in around memorial day on both the LC and LU sites.

Single game tickets at Lafayette went on sale last year on August 3. Season tickets (which includes a Rivalry ticket regardless of location) went on sale at the Maroon & White game which is in late April. Tix are tougher at Pardsville simply because there are a couple thousand fewer than at Goodman. Don’t ask about parking. It is what it is.

Also, if you are an alum, can be dependent on class year as to where you get seated. There are usually some to be had gameday at the tailgates. I noted that the game was ‘sold out’ last year, but the official attendance showed 300 empty seats.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Seems as if it is better to watch the game on television than trying to obtain a ticket.

Whoa………I advise you reconsider. There is nothing better than being at THE GAME. TV would be a distant second.

Absolutely. I ran into some peope at a Dodgers’s game a few years ago in LA. I was wearing my Lehigh cap. They asked me if I went there, and then, we started talking. Here, they went to a ‘big rivalry game’ every year. Michigan/Ohio State; Auburn/Alabama; Florida/Georgia; Cal/Standford, etc. They said that they had gone to the Lehigh/Lafayette game a couple years earlier and were amazed at the intensity and volunteered that it was every bit as intense, if not more so, than any of the other games listed above. Marveled at the tailgating (game was at Lehigh that year, which has a better layout for that). No way can you appreciate the rivalry through the tube. It must be experienced, and preferrably with a little ‘influence’. ;)

Ha Ha. I have a dear friend near PA. Maybe I can arrange to visit during game time. So many dates to obtain tickets were listed. Which one should I mark on my calendar. Thanks again.
