    Trey Brown has joined the football staff at Muhlenberg College as quarterbacks and wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator, the school announced Monday.

    Wow, what a come down. Obviously not much interest, or possibly, he didn’t want to leave the region due to family, which would certainly restrict options. But to go from the OC at an FCS school, where if you make your mark in a few years can parlay into a step up to mid-FBS or major FCS, to a ‘jack of all trades’ position at D-III Muhlenberg must be a shock to the system. Trey is certainly a decent guy, but he sure could not get the job done as an OC…at least at this level. I hope he has success.
