November 15, 2010 at 10:10 pm #2689I guess we can safely conclude that we are ranked #22 in FCS.Since I am by nature a royal pain in the a**, as my kids will gladly verify, the achievement , as all LU fans should remember, is fleeting. I will be happier if we are ranked next week. That will really be a cap to a great rebound year.
November 15, 2010 at 10:34 pm #2690Rich, lets hope for a top 20 ranking next week and then – A HOME PLAYOFF GAME to a full 16,000 Murray Goodman Stadium crowd of cheering Lehigh fans!
November 15, 2010 at 10:45 pm #2691Top 25 games (TSN poll) this coming weekend:
http://64.246.64.33/merge/tsnform.aspx? … px?season=
Most likely losses of #15-21 ranked teams that might help Lehigh vault into top 20:
18. Richmond @ #6 William and Mary (WM is favored)
19. Massachusetts @ Rhode Island (RI has beaten Villanova)
21. Liberty v. Stony Brook (A win by SB gives it the Big South Championship and trip to playoffs)November 16, 2010 at 4:21 am #2692Agree with TheFan on a home game. Wish that over T-day weekend you could get 10K for a game with students gone. What did LU-JMU game draw years ago? First-rounder?

Attendance would likely be 6-7,000 based upon this year’s turnout, which has been pathetic. Most students will be gone and the area does not support college football as it used to. One would have thought we’d get 10,000 for the Colgate game, but that was only about 7,000. See other thread about harrassment students receive that results in them not going into the stadium but preferring to stay outside and tailgate. Regardless, an enthusiastic crowd, even if on the small side, can still help with the adrenaline boost.
November 17, 2010 at 3:31 pm #2699A day many of us will not soon forget. Six years ago to the day!
James Madison (10-2,7-1) vs. Lehigh (9-3,5-1)
Date: Nov 27, 2004 Site: Bethlehem, PA Stadium: Goodman Stadikum
Attendance: 6116Sad to say, but if awarded a first round game this year I can’t see us having a crowd greater than 6,500.
