Sagarin has Robert Morris at No. 25 and the other guy has LU playing RM in the opening round of the playoffs? Call me clueless, but I didn’t even know it had a decent football team. Then I saw who its coach was:

75-year-old Joe Walton, who I last remember as the NFL’s Jets head coach.

    Interesting …

Based on our conference strength (24th of 27 ranked FCS units), I’m at all surprised to see the PL Champ (LU or whomever) be tabbed to play an opening round game. Positioned, as this author has it, to go up against the tournament’s second seed in Round Two is also in line with most thinking. Were we to win-out (9-2…. 5-0) or simply drop one (9-3….4-1) yet capture the PL crown, we’d be a good bet to host a November 27th game. Of course, with four weeks to go, we’re getting way ahead of ourselves. With Colgate on Saturday and Holy Cross – coming off a bye week – a week later and also in control of their destiny, we have more than enough to think about. Let’s get the Colgate chatter going under a new blog posting.
