Given the marked improvement in the quality of recruits across the olympic sports both M and W,it appears that Dean. Joe is spreading schollie. money around.

    Rich,
It has been nearly a decade since Murray Goodman donated $6M to fund scholarships for student athletes. I think that the trend has been going on for quite some time. The difference is that Lehigh is getting much more national exposure. Credit Lehigh-Duke in large part. More and more student athletes have become aware of Lehigh’s reputation academically too. It always amazed me that neither CJ McCollum or Liz Lucas ever heard of Lehigh before being recruited. Excellence begets excellence.
On a related note: A very reliable source told me that Lehigh has a ***** men’s tennis recruit for 2015.

    Rich,
Both of the volleyball verbals are definite. I was just looking for names. The outside hitter just accepted less than a week ago. Thanks for all your help. We need to stay busy somehow over the next few months :-)

OOPS. Didn’t ask her to get names. On hitter she hadn’t had a chance to ask her friend. I’ll ask her to follow ASAP
