    Wow. If Colucci arrives and then Jordan Wood, that could be some mean head banging for several years.

    Chase Gallik won the District 2 title with 4 1st period pins.

    Ryan Pomrinca won the District 1 title with a major dec. His win in the finals ties the Hunterdon/Warren County record of 148 career wins.

    Mike Russo became a 4X District Champ in NJ today.

    John Jakobsen won the District XI title with 3 wins

    Further update.
    Chris Colucci and Nick Farro also won District titles.

    Paul Dunn won his Sectional title today. He proceeds to the WPIAL regional.
    I believe Parker and Wood are are in their District finals to be wrestled on Monday.

    Christian Colucci defeats Marc McDonald 3-0.

    Christian Colucci of St. Peter’s Prep meets Marc McDonald of West Essex. Colucci is off to Lehigh, while McDonald is coming to Monmouth, where he will play football.

    Colucci scores the takedown and rides him out to end the first up 2-0.

    Colucci starts on defense and gets the early escape and 3-0 lead in the second.

    Neutral start to third. Nobody scores and Colucci earns the win and the 220 state title

    Thks. A very impressive recruit group for Pat.
    Do hope all those #s are legacies and not just you with multiple personalities.:)That also is quite impressive.

    Will be interesting to see whether either Colucci or Wood goes down to 197. Will be determined on next year’s growth, I guess. Their arrival timing will be good with departures of Wessel next year and Vollaro in ’17.

    Wood looks to be one who will fill out overthe next few years. Long torso. Expect both will be very good.

    Stumbled across this today: an IA wrestling site is ranking 2016 classes. At this point, they have LU in 1st.

    Kinda neat. Not familiar with that site. Have no idea how reliable or accurate he is. From our wrestling board,there is no doubt that Pat has assembled a large and extremely promising class.

    Thanks for sharing my post. I looked at 2016 rankings from a few sites. I mean there really isn’t a lot of data right now, but this is the picture looks right now.
