I was waiting for 65 to start this, but saw he posted earlier and didn’t start it, so maybe he is waiting for me because I started Duke thread minutes after bracket was announced(not intending to be the game thread but 65 ran with it)….anyway, huge game, obviously, holloway and lyons vs our guards should be pretty special. Again, vs a bigger team, lets control our defensive boards, GK, JM, JA and HG huge tonight. Also, need our guards to rebound like they always do, talking about CJ and BJB, got to contribute on the glass, bring the windex. If CJ can get going and Mackey can create, we got a legit shot folks, a legit shot at a sweet 16 birth!!!!! Amazing to even be talking about this, this is what it is all about. Turn the page on Duke, that is history, write some more tonight, lets go.

March 18, 2012 at 6:20 pm #5478Our young men are going to have the next 60 years to memorialize the Duke win, today is about writing another chapter, hanging xavier on the walls as next victim….let’s go LU.
March 18, 2012 at 9:52 pm #5479Finishing up our beers with LU65 and 06. Coming home tonight with a W! See everyone in Atlanta.
March 19, 2012 at 5:53 am #5480So proud of Lehigh! The loss was tough, but remember they beat DUKE! These young men had a heck of a year. So proud of my seniors. Wishing them the best. Looking forward to seeing the juniors next year. Go LU!
March 19, 2012 at 7:17 am #5481Just an observation, it appears that about the time the Xavier player got hurt, Reed made some changes different from that of the Duke game. The big dude from Xavier could not be matched and hurt us a lot. If LU remains focused, they can return next year. With experience comes confidence. I hope the guys work hard this summer to get ready for a tough matchup with our very own BU.
March 19, 2012 at 1:16 pm #5482Proud , just so proud. Kids were great. O went cold but effort didn’t. We had no match up for Frease and X perimeter D better in 2nd half.
March 19, 2012 at 2:09 pm #5487Tough loss last night. The team played an A- game for 14 minutes and then a D game the rest of the way. We play a B game last night and we are in the sweet sixteen. Couldn’t believe we were still in the game with 8 minutes left considering how poor we were on offense.
That said, what a tremendous weekend. Everyone played so hard and focused. Lehigh got a win in the NCAA tournament . Let that sink in for a second. What an awesome weekend!
Mackey may have taken the step we have all been waiting for. He has played phenomonally the last 3 weeks and his confidence must be sky high.
I would have liked to see Holden in the 2nd half when we couldn’t buy a bucket. He played well in the first half, and I thought maybe he could come in and bring some offense. Hamilton seemed a bit in over his head, and Holden was our 3rd leading scorer on the year. Thought he should have gotten a shot to break us out of our drought on offense when everyone else was bottled up.
GREAT WEEKEND!
