As I said,cut blocking is legal but still dirty football at times. Normally used on inside DL to keep them off the LBs. Both our injured DL were NGs. The block is usually made by the OL head on the NG. Yale cut from the side with one of the OGs maximizing the risk of injury. Legal but dirty.
The chop blocking by Yale DL was rampant and uncalled.
