There is my point. Defensively, we have the players but they are are all in the wrong positions. Laub is the same size as Groome. Last year, he was an OLB and this year he is lined up at DE opposite a 300# tackle. He should be at ILB. Palma at 265# is lined up at NG and has constantly been overpowered. Cavenas at 295# is lined up outside. Caslow is the same size as Githens, same speed as Ward and is a ball hawk. He should be our SS.
Our best LB ever saw the current crop at the steak fry and told them that they are going to have to beef up. We just recruited an outstanding crop of high school LBs. The challenge is turning them into college sized LBs.
